... 2011 Summer ...

The 1st Place Winner is...
Sarah Unthank - Oakley, CA
"I knew the moment I saw this mural that it would be the one I used for my next child, and as soon as we found out we were expecting a girl, I ordered the mural. My husband and I completed the mural over the course of a few weekends, working on it whenever we could squeeze in an hour or so.  This was our second mural from EOTW, so I knew what to expect, but I was still suprised at the ease and professional quality of the mural.  I have to laugh when people ask who did my mural or insinuate that I must have had to pay a lot of money to have it done! We get tons of compliments and at least two of my friends have purchased murals to do on their children's walls after seeing mine."

(The bedding in the room is from Restoration Hardware Baby and Child.)

"I have always wanted to do a MURAL on this wall, but could not figure out how. Then I found your web site, I thought "I can do this". It turned out better than expected. I used BEHR outdoor house paint and primer for the 3 base colors Sky, Water, Sand, Then for the detailed work I used Patio paint.
Thank you - I could not have done it without your help."

3rd Place
Heather Ashford
League City, TX
"We wanted a jungle/safari theme, but didn't want to go woth the typical green and brown color scheme. That's what was so great about your mural.  We were able to pick the exact colors we wanted to go with the bedding we got at Pottery Barn.  It was easy to trace the mural on the wall and it took me just two days to paint it by myself. Everyone just LOVES this mural and we constantly get compliments from everyone who sees it. Thanks Elephants On The Wall!"

"My son is 5 and loves all things pirates.  So when I saw this mural I knew it would be perfect for his room. He gets so excited to show anyone who comes into our house his very own pirate treasure map. He spends many hours playing and coming up with new adventures in search for the lost treasure. I was very pleased with how it turned out!  I couldn't have done this on my own!"
The bedding, rug and stuffed pirate are made by Olive Kids Pirate line.

Jungle Hula Party
Shannon Buist - Dana Point, CA
"This was a fantastic experience. I didn't know the sex of the baby and thought that the jungle murals would be perfect for a gender neutral room. I hot glued silk flowers on top of the painted ones to give "pop". I started by only planning on painting one wall and was having so much fun that I ended up painting all four walls! I recommend this for any parent who wants to give their child a room they can have their imaginations run wild."

Silhouette Swing
Sheena Moberg - Yorktown, VA
"I was a little apprehensive when ordering the murals because I have textured walls. The patterns worked wonderfully. When I ordered the “Playtime For Kids”, I was unsure of the gender of our little one, but I was excited to get started on our nursery. Once we found out it was a girl I was able to add the little girl on the swing and add pink to the room through the accessories and bedding. We are extremely happy with the results and love showing off our new room to everyone."
The crib bedding is "Kaitlyn" by Laura Ashley.

"We were a little apprehensive about the product when we placed the order, but were AMAZED when it arrived! It was extremely easy to use all the way down to knowing which paint we needed! We were able to substitute some of the paint with our son's colors making it personalized for him!!! Our whole family pitched
in on the painting which turned out absolutely incredible! We would recommend
this product to anyone who wants a one of a kind room that will blow away anyone who sees it!!!!

Fun for Boys
Sandy & Gary Cline - Farmington Hills, MI
"It was hard to make a decision out of all of the adorable murals to choose from but finally settled on the little boy hanging in the tree with his best friend watching him.  The mural was super easy to put up and trace and only took me a few days to finish painting it.  I was thrilled when I finally finished it and invited my friends over to see the finished project they had heard so much about.  They were amazed at how professional it looked.  Thanks for making the process easy and fun."

Beach Scene
Tonia Clarke -
Stockbridge, GA
"We wanted something that our children could enjoy, relax and remember the place where they were born, Hawaii. We worked on this together and we had a wonderful time. We also added our family name to the shack to call it our own. When you cut the lights off we have our name, the eyes on the crab and fishes, and coconuts on the palm that glow in the dark.  It was too easy and we completed the project in four days.  We just completed it and we know we will enjoy it. Thank you!"
