The House that Faux Built is a unique project-turned-book with a dual purpose:
  • To raise money for the Habitat House that Faux Built.
  • To showcase the very latest in painting and plaster home-makeover techniques.

More than 100 top artists from across the U.S. and Europe volunteered to help. Together they transformed the rooms of a 1940s colonial in Metro DC and an old Chicago church into unique works of art. Proceeds from The House that Faux Built, and the soon-to-be-released "How-to" DVD series, will help fund the Habitat House that Faux Built in New Orleans. More than half the money has been raised for the first house, and over $1,000 for animals made homeless by the hurricanes. Once funded, many of the artists will go to New Orleans to help build the Habitat House.
