Grand Prize "After we had picked out our bedding, my husband got the idea to paint trees on each side of the wall to frame the baby bed. The only problem was that neither of us has an artistic bone in our bodies! We looked into several local artists and checked out places that would create a mural from a photo, but we had a very specific idea of what we wanted – something with simple colors and something that would work for both a baby and an older boy. Nothing came close until we found this mural; it was perfect! We loved that we could pick whatever colors we wanted to use and could arrange the pieces the way we liked them and we definitely loved the price. I was amazed at how easy it was! I had my baby shower at my house just so I could show off the nursery, and it got rave reviews. I’m so glad we decided to paint this mural on our son’s wall." |

1st Place "I really enjoyed painting this map. I was a bit overwhelmed when I first saw it because of the tiny detail (and my lack of creativity) but it was really simple to do. I was able to finish this one in a week, working on and off. I used pre-made letters to name all of the islands to make sure they would be legible. I also pulled the quote from the book Panda Whispers and used a sticky back vinyl to create the letters." |

2nd Place "When we moved into our current house, our daughter's room had been painted blue with a hand-painted mural of boats all over one wall. Well, she didn't love the blue or boats, but fell in love with the idea of a mural. I didn't know how to paint a mural - so I did some research and found Elephants on the Wall. The Elephants on the Wall mural made the task of painting on my daughter's wall so much less daunting. There is the pattern, first of all, that comes with the carbon paper, and comes in strips so it is easy to hang - even for one person! Tracing the pattern onto the wall was simple, and then you have the color-by-numbers guide to help you from there. Voila! A beautiful, girly mural to turn my daughter's new room into a princess hide-a-way. She LOVES it!! Everyone who comes over to visit raves about the mural and can't stop talking about it - it is the highlight of the whole house! Thanks so much, Elephants on the Wall, this was fun and came out great!" |

3rd Place "The nursery has been designed around a lot of family heirlooms including the crib that has been in the family for 85 years. Once my mom and dad decided on the comforter, grandma went on a hunt to find that final piece to pull all of it together. That piece... the jungle mural. Mom was very very hesitant to paint something so large on the wall, when all she wanted was a simple but elegant nursery. In the end it has become "THE" focal piece that has MADE the room!! Thank you Elephants on the Wall for making this a truly enjoyable and memorable bedroom for my little girl for years and years to come." |

4th Place "I had a wonderful time preparing for my new baby by painting this wall mural. I found it relaxing to come home at night a paint a little bit and spend some time with our unborn baby! Overall it took a little longer than I planned but it was mainly because I wanted it to be perfect. I would recommend Elephants on the Wall to anyone that wants something amazing to show off to guests and visitors. Every time someone new comes to the house I make sure and show them my son's room. I am just so proud of what I did! I am not a creative person but with your wall mural I was able to be an artist. No one has to know I used a stencil! |

5th Place "I was initially nervous about ordering a mural. I know that I can do paint-by-number, but I was not sure how well I would be able to do paint-by-number on a wall. Luckily, it IS as simple as the website says: tape, trace, and paint. My mother and I took some liberty with the murals, by moving around and reversing animals, palm trees, and bushes to fit the space constraints of the nursery. I think that it turned out wonderfully! I cannot give enough thanks and appreciation to the artists at Elephants on the Wall. You have allowed me to create quite a special nursery for my little one. Thank you." |

Honorable Mention "I've always loved the saying 'Babies are God's way of saying the world must go on' which is also what God told the world with Noah's Ark. I knew that I wanted to decorate the nursery in a Noah's Ark theme and was thrilled when I found this amazing mural on www.elephantsonthewall.com Neither of us are artistic by any means, but the stencil and numbering made it easy to follow and complete. All of our family and friends are stunned by how great the mural turned out and have followed the process along the way. I am so pleased!!! I know that our baby boy will be too. Can't wait for the next baby to come so we can pick out another theme and fun mural to paint in the next nursery. Thanks Elephants on the Wall for taking a plain boring white wall and making it a fun and entertaining room!!!" |

Honorable Mention "My husband and I started this mural when I was about 7 months pregnant. |

Honorable Mention "I had an amazing experience doing this mural! I found an ad for Elephants on the Wall in a pregnancy magazine at the waiting room at my Dr.'s office. I looked at the website as soon as I got home. I started this mural when I was about 6 months along and it was so easy. I did the whole thing by myself and I'm so proud of it! I've had a few friends ask me to do murals in their children's rooms. I plan on doing another soon since we're moving our son out of the nursery and into a "big boy" room. I did change the colors to match the bedding we had from Babies R Us."

Honorable Mention Barnyard Doorhugger "This room is still under construction. I'll be painting Barnyard Friends on the wall to the left of the Barnyard Doorhugger. I started with the doorhugger because it was the smaller of the two murals and thinking it would be hard I thought smaller was better to start with! However, I found it to be easy and fun! This room is what I call the 'Grandkid' room ~ a room where my grandchildren can play with toys that were their daddy's toys and it will also double as a guest room. I wanted something that would be cheerful and work for my granddaughters, grandsons and adults! I think the room is going to be great when it's finished!" |

Honorable Mention Ilana’s Beach Shack "Wow, this was a great experience for me to do while I was pregnant with my first girl. I ran across your website and although doubtful that it would be as easy as the testimonials said, I went ahead and ordered it. To my great surprise, despite being 7 months pregnant I was able to hang, draw and paint it within perfect timing of my delivery and minimal aches and pains in my pregnant body. I had been wanting a beach/surfer theme for a girl, but it had been hard to find until I found your website. The mural is great because I could place it however and where ever I wanted and I can also use it again; which makes it so worth the minimal cost for such a beautiful mural. Everyone that comes over to see the room thinks we had a professional come in and do it. In addition to the mural I added a special touch to the sand, once my girl was born. I placed hand prints in the sand, like they were really at the beach and labeled with their ages. I can't wait to start my next mural for the playroom this summer." |

Honorable Mention "We are a not-for-profit, that has 250 Foster Care children assigned to our agency by DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services - Illinois). The playroom is mostly used for supervised and unsupervised visits of the foster children with their biological families. It is important to all of us here at ECFA, that the children and families have a fun and inviting place to have their visits.
